Solved my own problem. I was using one of my auxiliary linkedin emails to create the linkedin account. When I created it with my primary linkedin email my contacts populated in the playbook app.

I also have an encrypted 32GB media card and I can access files from the bridge browser (PDF, PPTX, etc). I do not have media encrypted and I also use only the device password for the encryption...

1.07.2670 fixed this for me. Woohoo! RIM fixed a bug instead of just adding new features. Hopefully I will be able to open calendar attachments eventually.

Download AT&T Connection Manager from their site. It is what I use for tethering. If you are looking for a way to tether without paying for it then you should probably look elsewhere...piratebay...

A little more specific...AT&T blocks tethering IF you do not have a tethering plan on your account. I tether with my Torch without any issues.
