I have the curve 8530, and emailing photos, sending through fb, or msn, etc usually doesn't take too long.
What version of phone are you running ?
It could be depending on how much signal you have...

It could be with your service provider, my facebook app is working fine. only time i ever get that error is if im in a no signal zone or low signal and its taking too long to respond.

Try removing any Apps that you have downloaded...

Try removing any Apps that you have downloaded before the problem started, do a back up, and do a restore, see if that works !
