My 9105 on Virgin did the same - earpiece stopped working. did usual hard reset etc with no joy.
Only 2 months old so went back to Virgin. Just got email saying "problem cannot be repaired" and new...

9105 3G no earpiece volume
I have a strange problem! From time to time my 9105 has no sound from the earpiece.The speakerphone works,callers can hear me but I can't hear them.
Volume says its at 100%
If I remove battery...
