Just an update - have installed the 4.5 OS (4.5.0.52 now available for all 83xx devices (Orange UK / Tim Italiy)) and lo-and-below "Get Images" is now working perfectly with NO APN settings!

Now that 4.5 is available for all the 83xx series (using either Orange UK or TIM Italy) I wonder what O2 is going to do.

Or are we just not going to have images in HTML e-mails without paying for...

I think it's a UK thing where we're being blocked from the "Get Images" option.

Hopefully it'll work when they release the proper 4.5.

I've yet to find a UK BB 4.5 person who can successfully use...

The HTML e-mail is fine, but no external images will display? Embedded ones work...

Even though "Automatically download images" is set to "Yes", I still have to go to Menu / Get Images / Yes - to download images for every e-mail.

Maybe it is a carrier by carrier...

I know Orange has "unlimited" data for £8 a month now - maybe 3GB is the cap, but like you'll say - its much of a much, as you'll never use that much.
