Ha, after looking at the tech specs on the 8800 at the RIM site I'm thinking this guy must be talking about the 83xx or he really has no clue!

My 7100t is getting real tired, I passed on the Pearl waiting for what's next. Dropped in to the local Tmo store and asked when they were getting the 8300. He said no, it will be the 8800 with 2meg...
