Went for it. Copied it over (after tweaking Domain Admin Access to BESAdmin), waited nervously. Tested existing handsets - OK! Tried new user sync on Ex2010 - OK!

I managed to resolve the issue in the end. It wasn't BESX's fault but Backup Exec. Since upgrading it to 2010 there are issues when backing up Exchange when using Advanced...
