Realised that the problem doesn't happen when I add the birth date to my contact but only occurs after google sync syncs the event with google calendar...
Is it the same trigger for you?

I have this same exact problem and don't know how to fix it either. It is automatically added to the calendar when I enter birthday information for a contact. It doesn't make sense for me to have to...
