Battery life is not very good. Manageable, unless one is on the road all the time. I have to think about turning off (and turning back on!) wifi and bluetooth and i have just ordered the docking...

OK, I did the test with another ring ("assured") and the behaviour is normal. Ringing does NOT stop when pressing any key, just if I press the touch screen where it says "ringer off". The phone rings...

Well, if you do it a couple of times, the ringer will ring only once (NOT set to "silent") for the next calls, until you do a battery pull. That has happened to me twice. Will probably happen more...

Reading the various posts, it looks like the 9700 is not as good as the 9000 for typing. I am going to buy a couple of new 9000 off eBay to make sure I can keep a good 9000 for ever.

Just moved from a Bold to a Storm 2.
The Caller ID does not work, i.e. the number calling is displayed but not the name when it is in the Address Book.

My provider is Orange. I have only one browser available on my BB. That browser does not allow me to download anything that does not come from Orangeworld website.
