The call quality on the Bold is superior to any other cell phone I've used period. However, I couldn't tell you if there is a difference in quality between EDGE or 3G in my area.

I have 4.7 installed too and it wouldn't load. I just used the Loader.exe program in the same directory as the vendor.xml file is stored and it worked like a champ!

I use Invisible Shields on all my mobile equipment and I wouldn't use anything else. My iPod has been through hell without a case and only the shield on it, and you would think it was new.

Nah it's not dumb at all. The one big thing I noticed is that Windows Live Search works in .185 but doesn't in .190. The memory increase appears to be the same for both versions though.

I'd take GPS first, Wi-Fi second, and a camera last. In fact I'm kind of tempted by the 8820 that is coming out. But I'm not sure if I'd give up my Curve for it since I love the form factor though.
