Options>Typing and Language>Typing>Virtual Keyboard>Style (change to Direct)

seems it to do with trying to run Desktop Manager/Loader.exe on a Win7Pro 64 bit install, as going back to a WinXP 32bit machine worked fine.

is there a trick to using DM on a 64 bit win7 machine?
