Sounds like it may be disabled by the BES admin - I turned it off my account on my bes and it still shows as unchecked on my handheld. You should check with the IT department to find out if this can...

On your blackberry in messages bring up the menu go to Options look for Hide Sent Mesagges - if it is checked uncheck it. In OS 6 this is found in Message Display and Actions - I can't remember...

The BES admin can also change the password - In BAS select user - Go to Device activation on the lower right of the page and choose "Specify new device password and lock device"

This does work - I tested with one of my users (BES 5) and he no longer gets email delivered when connected and desktop manager (6) is running. I got a free lunch out of this one he was so happy! 8-)
