I never had to reactivate mine, and I'm on my corp BES.
If you upgrade the device at your work on a PC that is connected to a BES, you do NOT need to reactivate the device.

Is there a way to force (or is there a setting on the phone?) my 8830 to sync with VZW network time? Or do I have to do *228 every time.

Try removing the battery and putting it back again. Wait...

Does anyone know of a short key that will put the phone in "silent" mode? I have my profile set as "Normal" and I'd like the ability to just hit a short key before going into a meeting.
