Return the defective one if it was only replaced recently. Stay away from "off brand" cards too. Buy from a reputable dealer as there are many counterfeit cards out there.

Either the headset has a broken wire/solder joint or the BB has a bad headphone jack.

If the headset works on another phone or MP3 player then bring the BB to a service center.

Perhaps you should invest in a genuine BlackBerry charger. It is also possible the battery is shot and has to be replaced. Only buy genuine OEM BB batteries.

Glad it worked for you. A Battery Pull is the first thing to do for any odd behavior you might notice. It clears up a lot of issues......

Similar issues used to occur with an old Treo. That turned out to be dirt under the edges of the screen/bezel. Was also affected by a screen protector that had an edge under the bezel.

If the replacement did not have the exact same numbers on the back of the lcd as the original it is likely the wrong part was installed. Did you order the replacement based on the model or after...

What that seems to indicate is that you don't have an active BB Data Plan assigned to the phone, but there is an active phone plan. Calling and SMS texting are usually a part of the phone service...
