Re: Latest OS 9810 v7.1.0.1997/ 7.1.0.694 (Multilanguage)

So far this has cleared up an issue I had running Gold Thumb Games on the last few versions. Otherwise, it's too soon to tell if it's really an improvement.

Re: looking for "Flashlight" package for BES 5.0.3

Try FlashOn from Shao-soft.com. It's free and works pretty well for me. There is a beta 2.0 version out there that has a few more options at http://shao-soft.com/shao/s/FlashOn.jad

It's the same price at Best Buy now. I think Staples as well. As long as RIM can deliver an awesome OS 2.0 it's a great time to buy.

Re: Remove Bloat/junkware

The best way I've found to hide the carrier crap is to create a folder (I call it Useless Crap) and move it all in there. Then hide the folder. That way they stay out of the way as much as possible....

What I find most unusual is that the birthday is scheduled from 4AM on the day of their birthday until 4AM the next day. Is this perhaps a time zone issue and it is off by 4 hours?

Re: How to get read of the Wifi music sync lists ?

When you are in the music list, hit the menu and select "Hide Home Music" and it won't show them anymore. I'm not sure if there is a way for it to forget what you had on the computer though.

Why not? Did it brick your phone? Were you unable to download it? Are you just opposed to upgrades on old phones? Just saying you don't like it is kind of pointless without some context.
