Re: Secure Passcode Storage

Pretty nervous about a Cloud solution. Two reasons. First, I need the information when internet is not available. Second, non-owned storage has a poor security reputation.

An app called Password...

Re: Document transfer to BB

Nope, I think you don't understand what I'm trying to do.

I'm trying to keep a block of confidential data on the phone. With the Curve it doesn't have to be in Password Keeper to be secure enough...

Re: Document transfer to BB

Yes it is.

The problem is not in finding Password Keeper. The problem is in transferring all the passwords and other data from the PC into it. If I can do it in one file the idea flies. If I...

Transferred to device.

Used Device Manager and then tried Drag and Drop and Move in Win8.

Files would transfer. Could be located in the device directory while connected but not in device directly....

Wearing another hat I have a fair amount of experience with Apple support. I'm not nearly as impressed as you. Very spastic, in fact, once the questions got beyond the basic new user level.

Experience With New Devices

A history:

I used BlackBerries in one form or another for many years. As a small business I was on the fringes of their target market so never received the best of customer service. But, their...

Re: Playbook And Bb10

Guess how useful a PlayBook is depends on how a person uses it. If it was just an extension of a person's device and you buy the newest offering certainly it is less useful. On the other hand if...

Not the issue. Issue is "near real time claim".

Re: U.K. Government Hacking BlackBerrys?

I guess my knowledge is out of date. Memory says that BES had some security capability that was superior to BIS. But, to take advantage of it all data had to go through the BES server.

At the most common download speed here that is a Two Hour download if done through a PC/Mac. Much longer if done wireless. Assuming no interruptions.

Wonder if it is available any other way.
