Go into Text Messaging->Options & check the Service Centre is right for your operator. Could be that you're using O2's still?

It would make sense, but they don't really target the business market & have their own Mobile Mail product (powered by Seven) which they chuck at most of their customers.

Buy the SIM from a store, then phone them up to add Blackberry PAYG (something like £2.70/Mb) or Unlimited for £10. I don't think you can do it at the same time as getting the SIM.

Do you know if you can make voice calls on this plan? The O2 one was about 25p/min but handy in case of dire need. And can you get £100 off the 8800 if you buy in-store or is it just the Pearl?

The O2 Pay As You Go Blackberry service is available on all our recent O2 High Street Pay Monthly consumer voice tariffs.
So you need an O2 voice plan first.

I removed the app from the handheld, but it still showed up after reboots. In the end I renamed the .alx file, and desktop managed then would allow me to choose it & remove it.

Bought this software at the weekend after trying out the demo. For some reason it seems to have swaped over Home/Work addresses, but otherwise works really well with my 7100x.
