I dropped my curve in the bath last week, and didnt believe the rice thing would work, but it did.
I immediatly stripped as much out of the phone as possible, dried it and then put everything in bowl...

totally hit n miss. Family member has 8520, same as me, on t mobile, same as me> she can use palces, i cant.
Tried for ten hours to find a solution that works, given up and consideringasking t mobile...

dont think this is entirely true, as someone else i know has the 8520 like i do, and they have no issues checking into places.
