yup, it has to do with how your ISP has their IMAP and persistent connection settings on the SMTP servers. My ISP (lunarpages) doesn't support persistent connections so i'm stuck on the 15 minute...

The problem is that bberry bis doesn't play nice with email servers that do not allow concurrent connections. gmail must allow it.

The BIS 2.3 upgrade is the problem and is conflicting with email...
