I enabled my Blackberry's (Storm 9530) APN settings (TMOBILE network) so that I could sync an application called pocket informant with toodledo. I am noticing that I am frequently losing my "EDGE"...

I installed the 5.0 browser again, and I now I seem to have STORM most of the time. Not sure what changed....

one more thing. i am seeing on various forums that storm users had a constant EDGE signal with the Blackberry Storm 9530 4.7.0.90 OS. Would it make sense to switch to this?

yeah that's correct. i am just using it for palm pilot features. from a quick search tonight, it seems like i may not be able to download a jar file without a data plan. does that sound correct?
