Re: personal hotspot feature on Bold 9900 ?
Many thanks to all who replied, and I am learning much.
@duane543: Do you know if your 9930 (I assume yours was acquired from Verizon?) will work on both Verizon's and ATT's networks?
Here's the...

Re: personal hotspot feature on Bold 9900 ?
I am not sure if AT&T will allow the Blackberry Bold 9900 to function as a personal hotspot.
I am interested in any unbranded roms that I can use for my AT&T issued device. Does a "homebrew"...

Re: Will the 9700 be able to utilise OS 7.1 ?
What I meant was to have the 9700 function as a "Wifi hotspot" similar to the OS 7.1 feature. But I guess the 9700 cannot do that based on this...

Will the 9700 be able to utilise OS 7.1 ?
I cannot seem to find any information online that points to the possibility of using a generic copy of OS 7.1 flashed on a Blackberry Bold 9700.
I desire to have Wifi hotspot feature on my 9700 and...

Here's another scenario:
We also have a BB Pearl 8100 (non 3G) which we originally acquired Unlocked back in 2006. We do not have a ATT contract currently.

Google Maps 2.3.2 is no good compared to WLS
The reason why GMM 2.3.2 is no good is because GMM blanks the BB screen (time out) even when gps is tracking your movements. When I use GMM, I always have to hit "0" on the keypad manually to have...

Is it possible to delete the ATT Nav VPL entry from the Service Book?
By doing so, perhaps the BB Maps will show up as the default Map application whilst on ATT theme?
Just guessing here...
