The fix is to create a keychain entry with both Name and Kind of:
BlackBerry User Password
and put your password in there. PM fails to create this entry sometimes...

That's just plain NOT true. There are issues with it, but saying that RIM doesn't support it is patently false. I have had great support from both tier 1 and tier 2 RIM support for PocketMac.

I am using PM daily with my pearl, and aside form the fact that it takes 15-20 minutes to sync, it works quite well.

I was also able to get great support from RIM for it when I had an issue...

You could go to your Messages, hit Menu/Filters...

You could go to your Messages, hit Menu/Filters then uncheck 'forward to phone'. Leave it like that until you want email delivered again...

I have an 8100 with a password enabled, so when i plugged it in, pocketmac told me I had to enable the password option in the settings. No problem, check teh box, enter my password, quit pocketmac,...
