I keep getting "Invalid manifest or application descriptor"...from past searches it sounds like this is a java error? How do I fix this so Google Talk/Maps will install?

Try deleting them from another folder instead of...

Try deleting them from another folder instead of the "Messages" folder. I don't use the messages folder and I don't have any issues.
