Re: Latest OS 9360 7.1.0.722/7.1.0.219

Yes I have it on my Bold. There are just a few co-workers I have with the 9360 so I was just curious if it was compatible with that device as well. Thanks for the info.

Bold 9790 OFFICIAL os 7.1 download

I downloaded and installed this last night. Haven't had a lot of time since to really test it out but it's running very well so far. The addition of the wifi hotspot and battery save mode are nice...

Rogers Release Date

Looks like the Blackberry rep I was talking to wasn't too far off when she said it would be out on the 7th. I've seen some leaked docs online today as I'm sure most of you have that says the 9900...

Re: NEW: BlackBerry® Torch™ 9810

We got the dummy version in today at work today. It feels extremely cheap. I know the working model will be slightly better in terms of build quality but from what I can tell so far, by the feel of...

Re: Potential 9900 Release Date!

August 16th is the launch date for Bell, according to the leaked document on mobilesyrup.com. Its so nice to finally see a set date and not "coming soon". Can't believe its almost here. I figured it...

Re: Potential 9900 Release Date!

I have a feeling that Canada will be getting this really soon. We got a bunch of 9900 Otterbox cases and various skins in for the device at my store yesterday. Hopefully that's a good sign!

Re: Who cant wait?

I'm very anxious and impatient for this one. The last time I was this excited for a new device to come out was the Storm a few years back and that turned out to be a flop and I didn't get one... I'm...

Potential 9900 Release Date!

I work for an authorized Rogers dealer. I was speaking with a Blackberry rep in my store today and according to her the launch date for the 9900 is August 7th. She did say anything could happen...

Re: What is the best (( 9300 )) OS version for speed and battery life ??

I find that os 6 works best on the 9300. I'd suggest going with a bold or wait for one of the new devices to come out. If you want my 2 cents, go with a 9780 or Torch or wait for one of the new...

Re: os 7 for curve 3G?

i doubt that os 7 will be available for models previous to the 9900, just like os 6 isn't compatible with older generation devices. current devices probably don't have the specs to run the new os.

Re: swap sim card from Curve to Pearl ?

No need to go to your carrier to get them to do a device swap. To answer your question simply, yes you can just remove the sim from your curve and place it into your pearl and it will work. If you...

Re: New Curve 3G: Which OS?

I don't know how much this will help but I work for Rogers and our 9300's are loaded with os 5. It could very well be different for AT&T. If it does ship with os 5 I'd recommend upgrading to os 6. I...

Re: Is texting the same on OS 6.0 compared to 5.0?

Texting is the same. I personally like OS 6 better. The new browser makes web browsing on OS 6 so much better. The OS is easier to navigate, universal search makes finding emails or anything on the...

Re: Why is new Bold 9900 NOT 4G Speed?

I'm completely fine with the 9900 being released as a 3G device. RIM's reasoning for it likely is they can mass produce 3G smartphones for less money and its a more established network so the devices...

Re: Video of new BB 9900/9930 models

Not too sure why someone would want a CDMA version of this device. Its bad enough that Blackberry is behind the times as it is but to get the non-hspa version seems like an even bigger step backward....

Re: 9900 Delayed.... again

I hope that this one will be released with most (preferably all) of the bugs worked out. I've only had an 8130 and using a 9300 now so I want to get good quality blackberry finally. I'm really...

Re: Why would you buy an OS7 Device ?

I can't get rid of my 9300 fast enough and refuse to get a 9780 or 9800 when I know there's the 9900 coming out. Ill get an OS 7 device because there will be nothing better available for Blackberry...

Re: RIM Faces Challenges in Moving to New OS

If they can get this rolled out and market it right, RIM could make a solid comeback. I hope that they make the new devices that are being launched this year QNX compatible. I want to get the 9900...
