hmmm, just updated using this and device show my old version Bundle 1310 (v7.1.0.391) which was the Roger's update. Tried to re-install but no action necessary.

I went through 2 and on my third unit. First one had a charging problem, second had a bad audio jack and third one is fine except the plastic around the touchpad is slightly raised but not a biggie....

I'm not sure buy after playing around with this feature, I get the feeling that you need data connection to get maps refreshed. The GPS seems to only locate you but you don't have all the map data...
