That's not a lot of apps. Many of us use more and expect to be able to load at least 20 comfortably. That is not the case with the memory underequipped blackberries which the 8330 finally addresses.

My Curve 8330 with OS 4.3 is noticeably less snappy than my 4.2x 8830. There might be more system overhead which also explains the noticeably longer reboot time. Not horrible but noticeable.
