so, how does a nextel customer send an sms or text msg to other carriers. When I had Sprint (CDMA) I was able to text msg by ATT friends w/o any problems.

I tried it on my Nextel 7510, but it doesn't have an option in the Compose to text message or SMS. Just has call person.
