I did not make a typo, there is a documented way to load the newer 8330 Curve OS on the 8830, altho my memory leak is bad. I'll load the actual 8830 os and see what I get.

Had to get a replacement device. Went and only backed up "Address Book - ALL" from old 4.5 device. Upgraded new device to 4.5. Restored address book, then re-activated on Unite. Everything syncing...
