I would argue that lossy compression like MP3 sucks more than FM, but both of them together make music unbearable for me. I really wish that the Storm could support lossless WMA files.

I made the changes and it still sounds empty/distorted. I've done side-by-side comparisons with other 8830 devices on v4.2. I guess we'll have to see if the next update of v4.5 fixes this issue.

I just installed 4.5.0.51 and so far it is working well. It's obviously a little slower than 4.2, but its not quite as noticeable as the jump from 3.7 to 4.0.
