Like the OS... but my BBM disappeared and I cannot download it OTA thanks to "not meeting requirements" and it doesn't appear in my software list...

Is my only course of action to downgrade back...

FWIW, I tried to return mine and go to the Curve, but I waited over 30 days and VZW was not willing to work with me at all. My only alternative was to go back to my 8703e.

They never figured it out for me. Sent me a new phone, I tried the upgrade and it gave me the same problem.

Just tried the NEW 4.2 update, and I get the same problem.

I didn't experience any lagging, performance was fine.

However, on two 8703e's, I could not make outgoing calls reliably (CALLING...never connects) without cycling the BB on/off. I would love it...

Rolled back to 4.1 last night and the phone works...

Rolled back to 4.1 last night and the phone works again. I will miss some of the cool features in 4.2 but will just wait for a new release or a new BB.

4.2 upgrade preventing outgoing calls from connecting?

On a VZW 8703e... after upgrading to the 4.2 software, outgoing calls began getting stuck on "calling" and not connecting. Rebooting or cycling the radio off/on, allowed you to make a call or two...

8703e VZW here, and after the upgrade I couldn't make an outgoing call without either rebooting or cycling the radio off/on. I could make 1 or 2 calls before it went back to the "calling" state...

I found the option, but now the problem is one of the BBs is a 7130e and 4.2 doesn't appear to...

Calendar question - how to share appts with another BB?

I have tried searching but can't find any answers (yet).

Currently we have our BB's set to sync with our PCs via Bluetooth, which works like a charm. This solves the individual need of the user.

Well, as luck would have it... I was trying to setup the BIS account without deleting the mail connector version first. It works now.

BIS no longer has an inbox, it's just a email account management control panel.
I don't have many messages on my handheld or on exchange, either.

So, obviously I have BIS 2.1 and OWA for Exchange 2003.

Technically, I should be able to login. Is there an Exchange setting I am unaware of?

Mail Connector shuts down frequently - any wisdom?

Recently started with a new company that uses Exchange, and does not let us access email remotely. (weird, I know, but I'm working on it). I set up my email using the mail connector, and it worked...

I am missing emails when using Notes because my BB is downloading a copy of the email all day... and marking emails as read.
