WiFi use in Europe

Im going to Europe on vacation. Ill get a SIM card there so i can make phone calls. But if can I somehow use WiFi to send emails and browse, so I wont be charged either to my SIM card or my home...

What does the "lock key" actually do?

Can you change the battery level turn off ?

When the battery level reaches around 20 per cent, the BB automatically turns itself off. is it possible to change that level? I can't find it anywhere in Options.

What does "standby time" mean?

What exactly is "standby time"?

Is it the time your battery will keep its charge if the BB is turned off entirely?

Or is it the time it will keep a charge if the BB is "on" but not being used?...

i'm running version 6.0.0.246

I thought if you werent actually using the Torch and it was simply turned on, the battery life was supposed to be good for five or six days.

My BB wont hold a charge

I fully charge my new BB Torch ... in an hour's its gone down to 85 percent. In anaother hoours down to 80 per cent. Then 75 per cent. This is with it just being turned on...

i'm not sure how i can tell if my bb is using cell tower or what. but with both bb maps and google maps ... its still off target, but its better after i used the "refreshed locations" command.

i used the "refresh locations" setting technique ... which helped ... but the gps in the torch (it seems to me) is not nearly as accurate or as quick to get reception as the gps i had in my world...

Alerts, rings and alarms settings ..

There is some way to adjust when your blackberry rings, vibrates etc when its in a holster or not in a holster when you get a phone call, an email or an appointment is due on the calendar ... but now...
