I guess I will be the first to open this up. I just upgraded to 4.1.7 in GW BES and my event viewer is nothing but these notifications. RIM says that they are working on it.

I will look that up. Would i use the brk for 4.1.4 though or is 502 just a name/number? They are in the same domain your right they are seperate on their own servers with local db.

I'm at the last step to install BES 4.1 for Groupwise. I am setting up a test bes to match our production server 4.1.4 and then upgrade to 4.1.6

I don't understand how to generate a trusted app...

Is it even necessary to have sql remote when its all VM. We have less than 200 users. Seems over kill.

Upgrading to 4.1.6 soon and trying to gain input.

The old Tour has 470 contacts that I exported. Some are missing when I import into the new Bold. Though it says I have the same number of contacts? I have checked that the old Tour is not exporting...

When my battery drained at the end of the day I plugged in the power and then it just wiped itself clean. Anyone heard of this? I had to sync back up with the BES.

I have syncronized the simulator for training and used it many times on an overheard projector using a laptop but its been two years and now I am searching on how I did it. It worked awesome.

GW Address Book - How long to sync

I synced the BB without choosing an AB. After the sync the BB's address book was empty.. I then went into the BES and chose the correct PIM Sync Address folder to sync. It has been over 15 minutes...

exchange has CDO.dll version 6.5.7651.61 and MAPI32.dll 6.5.7638.1

Is this ok as long as BES is the same? I assumed that the CDO and MAPI were the same version but with a .1 and .2 at the end.
