About the error in lbs.alx (vendor ~102), it looks like it is a feature to, not to install BBmaps on (cingular vendor102) phone, but I might be wrong.
The error?? also doesn't affect 8700G (tmobile...

It is part of the OS 4.2, open up desktop manager and use apication loader to install it.
