I remember on a Nokia phone I had years ago that you could have the phone go into silent mode at a preset time, for example you could set it from 11:00pm to 7:00am when you were most likely sleeping....

What kind of security are you using on the router. Its a shot in the dark but could it be that the 8320 has trouble renewing the WPA key (if thats what your using) as it needs to do every so often...
