battery performance for me never seems to change based on OS version. (I have had horrible battery performance after installing some apps though, so I promptly remove them.)

This wasn't the case.... it appears to be a separate option you need to add to your account. Cost is $20/mo for 2GB.

I just updated my Verizon 9930 with this. Waiting for enterprise activation to finish, but I poked around and the WiFi Hotspot option is there. I haven't tried it yet.

I have the dock for the 9930 and it works great. Only trick is you have to make sure the phone is straight. If it's leaning left/right too much the charge terminals won't make proper contact.

Yeah you need to turn on the "Hide Sent Messages" option. I also turn on "Hide Filed Messages." Those changes make the default message view look most like the standard Inbox.

Fixed a few bugs for me. One thing that annoyed me with .40 is that the phone would still play the tone (for messages and such) even if configured to only vibrate in the holster. That was fixed.

Yeah, it'll be nice when 5.0 is officially released but I was glad to get his update. It fixes a few annoying bugs that were present in the original 9630 OS version.
