I spoke to a Blackberry rep at T-Mobile yesterday and she told me the 8800 will be coming out 4/23 just like someone posted above. She checked out the promo stuff that T-Mobile had.

EDGE is on T-Mo/Cingular

The best for data is EVDO. It's much faster. But if I had the choice I'd go with T-Mobile's 8700G. That's what I want to get.

I say go with the blackberry. I use to have a Sidekick but got fed up due to lack of customization. I don't know how the SK3 will be but it looks like the interface will be the same as the SK2.
