This would lend credence to my previous post.

As in many animations, the processor load increases at the point of the loop (end of the animation sequence). So if your BBF had 100+ frames, that would mean it is looping (end to start) with less frequency, and thereby reducing the process load.

My advice would be to take frame 1-6 and duplicate them several times within the animation (svg) file. This will space out the frequency of the (end to start) loop that the device will have to process.
