hey i was having the same issue, anything i send a gmail message i get a notice on the storm like i was receiving mail. i have confirm delivery set to "no" but that does not seem to make a difference. i have a yahoo mail account setup as well and that works as expected. i only get messages someone else sends me not the ones i initiate.
