It was laying on my tool box at work, safe from harm. I got home and got cussed out for not answering calls or texts all that day. At that point, when I got home, it did work for about 20 mins. That was the end of it.

It has not been wet. This phone was perfect in every way for 2 months. Happened abruptly. I got the phone with a broken front and broken LCD. I put a new body and OEM lcd on it. Only touch the sides of the PCB.

The phone with corroded contacts is my backup and is working fine with the exception of a few buttons. It's not one of the ones with a signal problem. Shouldn't have mentioned it I guess. It is my brother in laws. I put a new body and LCD on it and haven't returned it yet. I have to give it to him eventually. I'm using this phone to reference what network settings I can check. They are identical except for the malfunction.

It acts like the network isn't letting MY phone register.

I do not have a data plan. That's what I dislike about this because I can't replace the phone without the monetary investment in a data plan.

thanks for showing interest. no-one else has even tried.
