Did you ever find a fix to this?

I am having the same issue, RIM support just keeps talking in circles, pointing to this doc:

"BlackBerry Enterprise Server Monitoring Guide 5.0.1"

What is needed to enable monitoring on users? BES components are being monitored just fine. Please help!
