I have searched hi and lo on this but am still struggling so bare with me please !

I recently downloaded HTC Tru Blu theme to my new Bold 9000. Whilst it showed up in the applications list, it does not show up in themes. I contacted the creator and he informed me i was running the wrong OS and needed to upgrade to 5.0.

Now i have upgraded my BlackBerry Desktop Manager Software to the latest 5.0 and everything seemed to go perfectly but my device info is still saying platform is 4.0.0.223 and App Version is 4.6.0.266 (451). Shouldnt they have updated or shouldn't I be able to use Desktop Manager to update the OS?


I have seen the thread about deleting .vendor file etc and i did find what i think were those file on my D drive but I am still not "getting" hot to update the OS on the device. When I go to DMS and click APPLICATION LOADER and UPDATE SOFTWAREis says no update is required ?

Maybe I am running the latest OS on my device but then why cannot i see the tru blu theme ?
