Default Email Setup application wont work

Hi,

I recently returned from Singapore, where i purchased a blackberry torch 9800. my email sync was working fine there on the singtel network, however when i got back here and switched back to t-mobile the email setup application wont even open.

when i click the email setup application it says "application initializing" then comes up with "the application has encountered an error and cannot continue".

i've tried reseting the phone by taking out the battery but nothing seems to work. all the other applications, bbm etc work fine its just this.

any ideas?
