My OS5 phone, while displaying letters, also displays the phone number and preselects it.

9) Let’s say you are in a bar, and someone wants to give you their number;; you have to pres the green call button, type in the number, bring up the drop down list, work out whether to scroll up or down to find add new contact (it’s down btw) before you can type their name and add. I want to be able to start typing the number on the home screen, then select drop down menu which shows add new contact without having to scroll
I have dial from home screen enabled. If I type a nu,ber from the home screen, the phone app appears. From there, a press of the menu button will bring up a menu, in which "add to contacts" is an option.
