Remember the Today screen on a Pocket PC?
I thought it would be cool to have something similiar for the BlackBerry, so here it is. You can download this totally free program from:

This app will override the ribbon on startup of your BB. You can always put it in the background with ESC or exit completely using the menu. Currently it has 5 plugins showing the following info: date/time, email summary, battery/signal info, next appt today, next task due today.
The email, appt and task plugins can be selected and by clicking on the trackwheel you can jump to the appropriate apps.

I've physically tested only on a 7230 but any 7XXX series should be fine. The 5XXX and 6XXX series will work but the screen resolution is lower so won't look as nice. You also need V4.0 of the OS.
