"Not really. Many will buy it just because it's new"

That would be me! I travel very little out of the country. It's new, it's cool and I'm a little tired of my year old Q. I've never used a BlackBerry but everyone that I know that has one (including my 16 year old nephew) loves it and calls my Q a BlackBerry wanna-be! So I ordered one yesterday, and no, I do not have a Business account with Verizon, just a normal customer.

I ordered mine last night and expect to see it either Monday or Tuesday. It's shipped today supposedly with free fed ex! I got a few options, the leather case, car charger and blue tooth headphones. The only discount not shown on my bill is the 100 mail in rebate. Here's my bill:

Item Code..........Description......................Pri ce....Discount
RIM8830CAS......CAS:RIM BB8830 LTHR.....$24.99...$10.00
RIMVPC-1...........CLA:RIM7103/8703CLA....$29.99...$20.00
PBT330Z............BLU: UNIV PLANT 330Z.....$59.99...$20.00
PRD-13790-001...RIM BB8830 GLBL PDA....$399.99 .$200.0
WAR6002...........1 YR. MFG. WARRANTY.....$0.00......$0.00
RIM8830GLOBPK SIM:RIM BB8830 GLOB....$39.99...$39.99
FEDEXSHP006.....FEDEX SAT BY 12PM........$19.99...$19.99

ORDER CHARGES:
Equipment Sub Total: $554.95
Equipment Discount: $309.98
Shipping Charges: $0.00
Taxes: $15.90
Extended Warranty: $0.00
Deposit: $0.00
Total: $280.86

So with the phone for 399 and a automatic discount of 200, then the 100 mail in rebate they say will be in the box, that puts the phone at 99! I'm pretty excited! This will pop my BlackBerryCherry!
Is this $399 with all the discounts with a new line or contract extension? I ask, becuase I not eligible till 2009 for a upgrade, but the corporation I work for still shows as having corporate discounts with verizon. Could I call in and get the same deal for my personal line?
