And yes, it does have GPS (I use GoogleMaps on my 8310). I have an 8310 but am thinking about the 8820 because of the "feel factor" of the 8820. Seems more solid than the 8300 series. Both are excellent choices though. All depends are your personal needs/wants. I had the 8700c some time ago and it was a rock solid device just a bit thicker than the 8800 series.
