a similar situation....WHAT IF...your 8110 installs the device software, but when it goes to reboot, it never turns back simply gives the red led light and white screen, but never sucessfully boots back gives the desktop software "error connecting to device"??? i havent been able to update my 8110 pearl from 4.3 to 4.5.
