another thought, the info we are giving you assumes you have a data plan on your cell phone so turning off wifi an only using cell data will work.
1. On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
2. Tap Settings > Networks and Connections > Wi-Fi.
3. If the Wi-Fi switch is on, turn it off.
4. Tap a network.
If the WIFI is on while your trying to test it will not work as we are suggesting.
