Okay, after reading:
Evolution-Data Optimized - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia and the MSM6500/MSM6550 docs, this is what I get:
1X = 1xRTT = CDMA2000 rev 0 = not for data broadband
1XEV = 1x EV-DO = CDMA EV-DO = EV-DO rev 0 = CDMA2000 rev A = what I'm using when I tether as modem
Is this correct?
So, I should likely be able to achieve similar tethered modem transfer rates with an 8830 as I am now with the 8703e?
