I'm running OS 4.7.1.57 and Google maps 3.2.0 without problems, seems to run as fast as previous versions. I was just glad that v3.2.0 fixed the gps lock issue I was having.
I didn't realize 3.2.1 was out... I think I might NOT upgrade, seeing as I'm not having any issues currently, and this latest version seems to slow things down??
