I would try to talk to BB or Sprint and see how much they would charge you without a contract and then wait for Q10.

Also, are you really happy with Sprint? Are you in one of their strongest areas? If so, and if you are willing to stay with Sprint for another 2 years, you may want to call and try to get 1 or 2 months of free service and free 9930, this way when Q10 comes out, and if you really want to get it, you can still pay full price for it, and then sell 9930 to cover the difference..

Despite Z10 being out now, 99xx is still a very powerful and extremely useful device, with a proven system and excellent design. x10 will need some time to get where 99xx is right now.. At least over a year.
